CONSULTATIONS

A consultation at WE Neuropsychology is a thoughtful and supportive starting point for anyone seeking clarity about cognitive, emotional, or behavioral concerns.

In this in-depth conversation, we take time to understand what brought you here, exploring current challenges as well as relevant aspects of your history.

While this session is often the first step in our assessment or coaching process, it can also be incredibly valuable on its own. If you're unsure whether a full evaluation is necessary or if you're just beginning to explore your questions, this consultation offers a space to reflect, ask questions, and gain insight. Many find it reassuring to talk through their concerns with a knowledgeable and compassionate professional, and to walk away with a clearer sense of direction, regardless of whether further testing is pursued.

COACHING

Our coaching services are designed to offer compassionate support, practical guidance, and a sense of direction.

Sessions may include psychoeducation about your condition, evidence-based strategies for managing symptoms, and guidance on how to create supportive environments—both internally and externally. We’ll also explore real-life applications of therapeutic techniques and consider how lifestyle factors like sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress impact your cognitive and emotional health.

Our coaching sessions are designed to build upon the insights gained through the evaluation process. For this reason, at this time, they are available exclusively to individuals who have completed an evaluation with us. This approach allows us to offer support that is deeply personalized and grounded in a clear understanding of each person’s needs; however, we do look forward to making this service available to a wider community in the future.

PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS

At my practice, psychoeducational evaluations include both academic and neuropsychological measures to better understand how an individual learns and performs in school or testing settings. These evaluations are often recommended when there are concerns about learning or attention, particularly when accommodations require documentation of a diagnosis and functional limitations.

The evaluation provides the information needed to support requests for academic accommodations or special education services and to develop tailored recommendations. Testing may be completed under both standard and modified conditions (such as extended time) to better understand optimal performance.

Although my training and clinical background include work with pediatric populations and I may accept pediatric cases on a case-by-case basis, my practice is primarily focused on adults and older adolescents (typically ages 16+).

The evaluation process is not about labeling, it’s about understanding. With that understanding comes the opportunity to learn more effectively, advocate with clarity, and move forward with confidence.
